Uriah Park, was born and raised in Southern California. She has performed as a vocalist for fifteen years, and has been in worship ministry for over twenty years. She has assisted other upcoming artists in songwriting, vocal performance, recording and song production. She has also directed two music videos. Vocationally, she has also spent time teaching in academic settings, as well as teaching youth about how to worship and develop a lifestyle for it.
She is a single mom of three, and a full time educator by day. If she is not with her children, in the house of prayer or writing, then she is serving at her church. She studied at Azusa Pacific University for Worship Leadership, spent 20+ in worship ministry, and she also has experience in counseling and prayer ministries.
On Music
Contrary to professional music industry standards, Uriah believes in the power of authenticity that is most often captured in the moment of the first round of singing. The essence of worship is ministry to the Lord, and she desires to make this the one and only priority over auditory and musical perfection. At times, more than recording excellence, she believes that something special was deposited in the recording of these songs, as they were personal moments of ministry for herself that she received in that moment. It is the power of desperation for God that Opens up the Heavenly sounds to the individual’s heart that she seeks to capture.
