Experiences unspeakable…

In the fallen world in which we live, we cannot always escape the pain of experiences too awful to even speak of. God has called us to be a light, but a light in the dark. Fortunately, He is the light and He can light up even the darkest places of our memories and our hearts. This song came out of such pain. The evil I experienced firsthand, secondhand are not worth explaining. One can rehash the details to no end, but that will never set oneself free from the trauma, rather it will continue it.

God is El Roi —the God who sees.

Praise the Lord, that we have One who knows and sees all. If we let Him into the pain of the past and enter conversation with Him, we will find that He never abandoned us. He is a God of Justice, and though we may not see it fully now, we can experience the justice His presence brings, the comfort that His knowing brings us. For after all, He experienced the suffering, persecution, physical, and spiritual abuse too.
